Who We Are
ElderCARE Lake County is a volunteer-driven 501(c)3 providing free medical transportation, grocery shopping assistance, technology assistance, friendly in-person visits & reassurance phone calls to older adults aged 60+ across Lake County since 1998.
Our mission is to support older adults in living independently for as long as possible by facilitating community connection, promoting dignity and autonomy, and combating isolation and loneliness. Older adults' independence is a key factor in their social and physical well-being, yet it remains a significant challenge for those who are aging in place with limited financial resources to access the services they need.
ElderCARE's impactful work is supported by a team of dedicated volunteers and community partners who provide these free services to older adults in Lake County.
